MATERIAL USED

 


EN52


This steel is classed as "semi" corrosion resistant as they are attacked by Chlorine and Sulphur compounds. As a result this material is no longer considered suitable for exhaust valves, although it is still perfectly satisfactory for inlet valves.

214N (349S52)

This steel retains its hardness even up to temperatures of 800 Deg. C and possesses excellent rupture strength under high temperature conditions combined with good creep and impact values, The high Chromium content gives good scaling resistance, and has greater corrosion resistance against Chlorine although is still not immune to sulphurous attack.

1.4882

This material has the same properties as 214N (349S52) but with addition of Ta (Tantalum), Nb (Niobium) and W (Tungsten). This gives it greater elongation properties, improved tensile, yield and creep strength.

Nimonic 80A

Nimonic 80A has an increased operating temperature over 214N and higher corrosion resistance.

Being one of the most important components in the engine, OmReva has built in high quality valves and valve seats. Process, the machines, the systems, the testing equipment - all assure of the highest quality.

To ensure the metallurgy of the critical and important raw material, the company has well established metallurgical lab equipped to test microstructure, tensile and bend, micro hardness, porosity, crack and chemistry by latest techniques and equipment.

It is our endeavor to manufacture quality products, through continuous improvement in design and processes at affordable price to the customer satisfying his explicit and implied needs.

The guidelines and the procedure that are to be followed are laid down in the Q. A. method. The manual it self is reviewed and up-dated from time to time.

As a routine all initial samples go through extensive development stage such that the best quality could be achieved and production program is planed for bulk production.

The physical laboratory is equipped with modern instruments and equipments such as UTM Machine, Metallurgical Microscope, Hardness Tester.

The chemical laboratory is fully equipped with spectrometer and latest instruments for the analysis of the raw material used and of the final melt as well.

OmReva is equipped with in house heat treatment plant and carries processes like Annealing, Normalizing, Spheroid Annealing, Solution Annealing, Precipitation Hardening, Tempering etc. with Automatic controllers and recorders.

Testing & Certification is provided for Chemical & Mechanical Properties. OmReva also execute orders under third party inspection of LLOYDS, BVQI etc. OmReva executes many type of N. D. T. test to confirming to International standards, whenever required by customers.
